I 7, 1825-1841, p. 346, Entry number 96<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The farm where he was born was called Panteholtet, which was part of a larger farm known as T\u00f8ften: today this farm is called Granvold.<\/p>\n<p>He was confirmed (with his brother <strong>Hans Kristian<\/strong>, entry number 80 below) in Rakkestad, \u00d8stfold, Norway on 05 October 1856<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/media.digitalarkivet.no\/en\/view\/406\/2590\/51\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rakkestad prestekontor Kirkeb\u00f8ker, F\/Fa\/L0009: Parish register (official) no. I 9, 1850-1856, p. 174, Entry number 81.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalarkivet.no\/en\/view\/279\/pk00000002213207\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transcription of the above<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is one<strong> Anton Syversen<\/strong> born between 1840 and 1842 in Rakkestad listed in the 1865 census: He was living on the Saxegaard faarm in Tune with <strong>Ole Andersen<\/strong> and his wife <strong>Berthe Nilsdatter<\/strong> and was employed as a welder.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rhd.uit.no\/folketellinger\/ftliste_e.aspx?ft=1865&amp;knr=0130&amp;kenr=001&amp;bnr=0085&amp;lnr=000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">View a transcription of the census record<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Anton Syversen<\/strong> could not be located in the 1875 census.<\/p>\n<p>He appears to have left Rakkestad for Kristiania (present day Oslo) in 1876<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/media.digitalarkivet.no\/view\/5766\/430\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rakkestad Priesthood Office Church Books, F \/ Fa \/ L0011: Ministerial Book No. I 11, 1862-1877, p. 402 (bottom right hand page, 1876, Entry Number 8)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalarkivet.no\/en\/view\/291\/pu00000000182544\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transcription of record of his departure<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He was identified as the father of <strong>Anne Helene<\/strong> who was born 2 April 1877. Assuming that he was the biological father, we can assume that he and <strong>Anne Helene<\/strong>&#8216;s mother (<strong>Laura Larsdatter<\/strong>) were on intimate terms around July 1876.<\/p>\n<p>He married<strong> Laura Larsdatter<\/strong> on 24 Mar 1877 in Eidsvoll, Akershus County.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/urn.digitalarkivet.no\/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20060512010382.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Parish register (official) no. I 12, 1878-1893, p. 272, Female Entry number 8<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anton Martin<\/strong> entered into a 2nd marriage with Maren Johanne Christensdatter ( born 15 December 1861 in Rakkestad ) on 17 September 1897 in Rakkestad.<\/p>\n<p>They had two children:<\/p>\n<p>Son <strong>Christen<\/strong> was born 18 March 1898 in Rakkestad:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalarkivet.no\/en\/view\/255\/pd00000014793974\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transcription of his birth<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Christen<\/strong> died 30 March 30th 1898, just 12 days after his birth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalarkivet.no\/en\/view\/267\/pg00000002703676\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transcription of his death<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Daughter <strong>Alma Laura<\/strong> was born August 4th 1899 in Rakkestad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anton<\/strong>, <strong>Maren<\/strong> and <strong>Alma<\/strong> were enumerated on the 1900 census in Rakkestad.
