Some members of the family eventually moved further West, settling around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rayson.us\/aehanson\/genealogy\/geography\/lacrosse-county-wisconsin\/\">La Crosse, Wisconsin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My fathers family emigrated from Norway. His father&#8217;s family descended from a long line of a ancestors who lived in and around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rayson.us\/aehanson\/genealogy\/geography\/nesna-nordland-norway\/\">Nesna, Nordland, Norway<\/a>.
