This small town located outside Frankfurt was home to the Schmitt family. Rosina Schmitt married Karl Zang there in 1852. After his death in 1864 Rosina and daughters Margaret Zang and Rosini Josephi Zang emigrated to Walworth County, Wisconin in the United States.
Son Phillipp Joseph Zang remained iand married Anna Maria Hartmann (b. 1866) in Arnstein on 25 May 1896. They had one known child, Karl Josef Zang (b. 1898), and both died in Arnstein.
