Casper Friedrich Amborn and Louise Theadore Hoerining left Walwoth county in 1869 and settled further West in LaCrosse County with their three youngest children:

  • Amanda Livette (Bertha) married Johan Storandt in 1874 and settled in Farmington.
  • Jacob Amborn married Wilhemine Pfaff in LaCrosse county in 1875 and settled in Farmington.
  • David married Emma Pfaff in Farmington in 1883, and he was buried in the Burr Oak Methodist cemetery in Farmington when he died in 1885

Casper died in August of 1875 and is buried in the Burr Oak Methodist cemetery in Farmington. Louise died in 1899 and is buried with her husband.\

Gottreich Heinrich Amborn (a.k.a. Henry Amborn) apparently was part of the group of families who emigrated from Germany to Walworth county in 1847 (see Amborn). He lived there with his family until 1866, when they moved to Burr Oak, Farmington, Wisconsin. Although they share the same surname, the relationship between Casper and Henry is not known. In the past it has been suggested that they were brothers, but I have obtained birth records for Caspers family and I do not believe that this is the case.
