Gottreich Heinrich Amborn (born in Germany 7 November 1805, married to Anna Elisabeth Schliecher (born in Germany 24 December 1823). They traveled to the United States in 1848 and settled initially in Bloomfield, Walworth, WIsconsin but moved to Burns. La Crosse, Wisconsin about 1866. They had the following children:

  • Mary (b. 11 December 1850), married Unknown Fisher
  • George (b. 14 December 1852), married Eliza Margaret Lash
  • Elizabeth (b. 28 February 1854), married Johan Heinrich Lang

  • Cornelia (b. 17 June 1858), married Unknown Fisher
  • Sarah Maria (b. 8July 1860), married Unknown Cook
  • Charles (b. 11 July 1864)
