One of the many things about my wife that I love so much is our shared passion for travel. We have taken many “trips of a lifetime” together to Europe. For reasons I cannot explain, I have felt compelled to keep a journal on each of these trips, and I am really happy that I did. As I have been going back and transcribing them I have been reminded of the pleasures (and challenges) of traveling in a foreign country.
